YOGAFORLIFE STUDIO SENDAI is a boutique yoga studio specializing in women. Founded in Tokyo in 2013, YOGAFORLIFE brings to Sendai the philosophy and experience of yoga that caters to women's menstrual cycles and life stages.
By moving the body through yoga and harmonizing the mind and body through deep breathing, we provide a space where women can be freed from the stress of everyday life and rediscover their true selves.

CONCEPT
Our studio is a modern, minimalist space in Omachi, Sendai, specializing in women's well-being. Through bespoke programs tailored to each stage of life and menstrual cycle, we aim to balance the mind and body and support natural aging.
OBJECTIVE
A consistent yoga practice helps women maintain a sense of well-being, allowing them to embrace their own beauty and healthy aging.
PHILOSOPHY
We believe that well-being is achieved through a balanced approach that is tailored to each individual, and YOGAFORLIFE supports women with three pillars:
- Stabilize : Balance your mind and body through Hatha yoga, meditation, and breathing techniques.
- Endurance : Develop physical, muscular and mental strength through Vinyasa and Hatha Flow yoga.
- Silence : Yin yoga, restorative yoga, and sound therapy release stress from the mind and body and regulate the autonomic nervous system.
EXPERIENCE
It is a space that stimulates the five senses, where women can take care of themselves while facing themselves, and create an environment where they can refresh their mind and body.
TRADITIONAL
HATHA

This class is aimed at yoga beginners and those who want to learn the basics, focusing on each pose with proper alignment. It's a safe and effective way to increase your strength and flexibility. Beginners will also learn breathing and meditation techniques, gradually building a foundation for a healthy mind and body, promoting and maintaining overall well-being.
HATHA FLOW

This class focuses on your own breathing and moves at a good tempo while coordinating your breathing with your body movements. By moving your whole body in tandem with deep breathing, you will improve your muscle strength, metabolism, and immunity.
VINYASA I

By linking breathing with poses, this class will promote full-body stretching, muscle strengthening, and physical fitness. It will strengthen your flexibility, muscle strength, and core, making it ideal for those who want to move their body and get more exercise.
YIN

This class focuses on the connective tissues and bones deep within the body by holding each pose for a long time. The low-volume and simple poses create a deeply relaxing effect.
RESTORATIVE & SOUND

This class uses props (blankets, bolsters, belts, blocks, etc.) to release tension in the body while taking time for each pose in a quiet environment to release tension, awaken the body's healing powers, and promote recovery of the mind and body. Tibetan singing bowls are also used in this class, and sound affects the brain waves, allowing you to experience the ultimate relaxation.
